Multi-phase Extraction
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) Technology
Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) is an efficient remediation technology for treating volatile and semi-volatile contaminants in soil. For semi-volatile pollutants, bio-enhanced SVE methods can be applied.
Implementation Method
1. Well Installation:
Install vertical wells or horizontal wells in contaminated areas.
2. Air Injection:
Inject air into the subsurface to volatilize volatile/semi-volatile components in the contaminated media.
3. Contaminant Extraction:
Extract volatilized/semi-volatile components through dedicated extraction wells.
Collect and direct contaminants to downstream air treatment systems.
Targeted Pollutant Types:
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs)
Process Efficiency:
Enhanced by bioaugmentation for recalcitrant semi-volatile pollutants.
System Scalability:
Adaptable to both vertical and horizontal well configurations.
